Foundation Repairs, Wall Anchoring Mudjack, Concrete Leveling Repairs

Crawl Space Support, Soil Stabilization, Slabjacking Foundation Settlement

With over 42-years of trusted experience in the concrete business, United Equipment Sales owner, Dick Hibbard suggests walking around your home to inspect for foundation problems that often appear as hairline cracks. These unseemly cracks result in water leakages into basements and crawl spaces that cause mildew, a major health risks particularly for elderly and children. This most often occurs as the result of concrete curing or minor settling.

The Multi488 UES mobile and other grout pumping machines are very effective in foundation repairs, slabjack concrete leveling, mudjack wall anchoring and soil stabilization.

More red flags (photos below):

·         Cracks at upper corners of windows and doors (uneven foundation settling)

·         Mushrooms or fungus growing out of siding (moisture in the walls)

·         Soft boards or loose rails on outdoor decks (decaying deck structure)

·         Soggy ground and lush vegetation around septic tank or leach fields (overfilled or failing septic tank)   Click Here Discount Mud Pumps, Grout Slabjacking Machines for Sale

·         Missing or torn insulation in attic (pest infiltration)

·         Scratches or algae on siding (overgrown trees or plants)

As a rule of thumb, if you’re standard No. 2 pencil can go into the crack up to the yellow paint on the pencil, that's a pretty wide crack and might be a sign of a major problem. A ruler is another handy tool: Cracks wider than 3/16 inch, even vertical ones, can be a problem. Mark smaller cracks with tape and monitor their progress over the coming months.

Also be on the lookout for horizontal cracks or bulging or buckling. Along with expanding cracks, those conditions require the attention of a structural engineer. The longer you wait to correct this problem, the more costly it will probably end up decreasing your home resale value by 15% or more, says Consumer Reports News.
